AI Policy

International Journal of Global Information Systems (GlobeIS Journal) restricts the use of generative artificial intelligence in the preparation, review, and publication of manuscripts.

Use Not Permitted

Authors must not use generative AI tools for:

• Generating manuscript text
• Generating or editing images, figures, or other visual material
• Data analysis
• Interpretation of results
• Literature review

Manuscripts found to contain AI-generated content of these kinds will be rejected. Where this is identified after publication, the article is subject to correction or retraction.

Use Permitted Without Disclosure

Authors may use AI tools for:

• Language correction
• Grammar and spelling
• Formatting
• Translation

These uses do not require disclosure. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the final text.

Authorship

AI tools cannot be listed as an author or co-author. Authorship requires accountability for the work, which no AI tool can hold.

Reviewers

Reviewers must not upload manuscripts, or any part of them, to any AI tool. Manuscripts under review are confidential.

Author Responsibility

Authors are accountable for the entire content of their submission, including any portion where a permitted AI tool was used.
