Archiving Policy

Archiving Policy

GlobeIS International Journal of Global Information Systems (GlobeIS Journal) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published content.

Digital Preservation

  • The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PN), which provides permanent archiving of all published articles.
  • The journal plans to assign Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to published articles to support persistent linking, discoverability, and citation stability once DOI registration is activated.
  • Published content is stored in secure servers with backup systems to prevent data loss.
  • In the event the journal ceases publication, all content will remain permanently accessible via PKP PN.

Repository Policy

  • Pre-prints are not accepted or published.
  • Only the final, peer-reviewed version (Version of Record) is published online once accepted.
  • Authors are permitted to deposit the final published version of their article in:
    • Institutional repositories
    • Subject-based repositories
    • Personal or academic websites
  • Deposits must include a proper citation to the published version in GlobeIS Journal.

Indexing & Accessibility

  • All articles are made immediately open access on the journal’s official website upon publication.
  • Published content is indexed in recognized scholarly databases to maximize visibility and ensure permanent access for readers worldwide.
