Peer Review Policy
GlobeIS International Journal of Global Information Systems (GlobeIS Journal) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and quality.
Review Process
- All submissions are initially screened by the editorial team for scope, originality, and compliance with author guidelines.
- Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers for evaluation.
- Both the reviewers’ and authors’ identities are kept anonymous throughout the process (double-blind).
- Reviewers are asked to assess the manuscript’s originality, methodological rigor, clarity, ethical standards, and contribution to the field.
- Based on reviewer reports, the editor may decide to:
- Accept the submission
- Request minor or major revisions
- Reject the submissionThe journal does not guarantee acceptance and editorial decisions are final.
Review Timeline
- Authors are notified of the first editorial decision within 4–6 weeks of submission.
- Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the same reviewers.
- The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Provide constructive, unbiased, and timely feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript and review process.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest to the editorial office.
